The ISMC internal rules specify the steps for application and admission of new associates. The application period remains open throughout the year.
Any natural or legal person with an interest in the purpose of the association may apply for membership and request accession. The admission procedure consists of four steps, as described below:

Expression of interest: express your interest in becoming an ISMC associate by filling in this form or contact directly by email to: secretaria.at.ismc-iberiamine.com.
Formal request: A formal document from the applicant organisation shall be provided to the ISMC board, certifying the internal agreement of the requesting entity and appointing a representative of the same.
Debate and approval: The ISMC Board of Directors put the request to a vote. If approved, it must be ratified by the General Assembly. If rejected, a 10-day period for allegations follows.
Membership confirmation: To become a full member, the required documentation shall be provided, and an initial admission fee shall be paid to ensure the proper functioning of the association
BECOME A COLLABORATING ENTITY

SMC collaborating entities are public and private institutions that collaborate with the cluster in the pursuit of our founding goals, supporting the organisation of events, projects and other communication and dissemination activities.

Collaborating entities do not pay an admission fee. Private companies cannot adhere the cluster as a collaborating entity.
