ISMC ANNOUNCES A NEW ORDINARY GENERAL ASSEMBLY ON 30 JUNE 2026
On Tuesday, 30 June 2026, the Iberian Sustainable Mining Cluster (ISMC) will hold a new Ordinary General Assembly, a key event for ISMC members during which the activities carried out over the past financial year will be reviewed and the main challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the cluster will be discussed.
The meeting, intended for the organisation’s members, will take place online from 12:00 noon and will bring together companies, technology centres, universities and organisations linked to the sustainable mining ecosystem and related services across the Iberian Peninsula.
An opportunity to review progress and advance the cluster’s strategic objectives
The General Assembly is the principal decision-making and participation body for ISMC members and provides an opportunity to share results, assess the organisation’s progress and strengthen the collaborative work that drives the cluster forward.
During the session, the management and financial report for the 2025 financial year, the annual activity report and the cluster’s accounts will be presented.
The agenda will also include the admission of new members, reflecting the continuous growth of an organisation that is steadily consolidating its position as a meeting point for the various stakeholders across the mining value chain.
A key event for the future of the cluster
The active participation of members is essential to continue jointly promoting innovation, sustainability and competitiveness within the mining ecosystem and related services throughout the Iberian Peninsula.
ISMC encourages all members to take part in this General Assembly, a forum for dialogue and collaboration that will help strengthen the network and successfully address the challenges facing the sector.
Driving innovation and sustainability in mining
Since its establishment, ISMC has worked to promote collaboration between companies, public administrations, universities, research centres and technology organisations, supporting innovation projects aimed at addressing the current challenges facing the mining sector.
The energy transition, European strategic autonomy in critical raw materials, the digitalisation of industrial processes, the circular economy and the social acceptance of mining activities are among the key areas in which the cluster develops national and international initiatives and projects.
ISMC is currently involved in numerous European research, development and innovation (R&D&I) projects that contribute to the development of innovative solutions to ensure a sustainable and responsible supply of raw materials that are essential for industry and the green transition.
