ISMC drives the communication strategy of the European project MOSAIC INNOVA
Last week, the Iberian Sustainable Mining Cluster (ISMC) took part in the kick-off meeting of the European project MOSAIC INNOVA, held online. Representing the cluster were Alicia García-López and Laura Quijano, PhD, who will lead the project’s communication and dissemination strategy.
MOSAIC INNOVA, a Coordination and Support Action funded by Horizon Europe, will run for 12 months. Its mission is to strengthen Europe’s innovation ecosystem around deep tech and critical technologies, while fostering sustainability, circularity, and industrial resilience across Europe.

Main objectives of MOSAIC INNOVA
Reduce fragmentation between regional and national innovation ecosystems.
Foster cooperation between regions with different levels of innovation performance.
Promote the exchange of best practices and knowledge transfer.
Engage companies, clusters, research centres, and public administrations through communication, dissemination, and exploitation activities.
A European consortium committed to sustainable innovation
The project consortium includes ISMC, leading the communication and dissemination work, alongside ICAMCyL Foundation, Industrial Cluster Srednogorie, and Geokompetenzzentrum Freiberg e.V.
At ISMC, we are proud to contribute to this European initiative and to work with our partners towards strengthening Europe’s innovation landscape, boosting industrial competitiveness, resilience, and the transition to a more sustainable and circular economy.
