ISMC led the RESiLEX Project Review Meeting in Norway
The Iberian Sustainable Mining Cluster (ISMC) took part this week in the Second Project Review Meeting of the RESiLEX project, funded by the Horizon Europe programme.
The event gathered all project partners to evaluate progress, share results, and align on next steps to enhance the resilience of Europe’s silicon value chain.

As the project coordinator, ISMC led key sessions focused on Project Management (WP1) and Dissemination, Exploitation, and Scale-up (WP8). The cluster was represented by Dr Laura Quijano and Clara Balbín García, who presented achievements and future milestones to the European Commission’s Project Officer and an external expert.

The agenda also featured technical visits to the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) pilot facility and Nanopow’s plant in Elverum, providing hands-on insight into cutting-edge sustainable silicon technologies.

A big thank you to all partners for their continued collaboration and dedication. Together, we are making silicon innovation more sustainable and strategic for Europe.
