Successful Turnout at the ISMC Spring Summit 2025 in Seville
The Occidental Sevilla Viapol Hotel successfully hosted a new edition of the ISMC Spring Summit, a key event that brought together representatives from the industrial, technological, and scientific sectors to foster collaboration and innovation within the framework of European research and innovation programmes, particularly Horizon Europe.
The day began with an institutional welcome from Santiago Cuesta López, Director General of ISMC, who highlighted the objectives of the event: to promote synergies, showcase technological capabilities, and build collaborative proposals with an impact on Clusters 4, 5, and 6 of the Horizon Europe programme.

Throughout the morning, experts such as Carlos Toledo (CDTI) provided an in-depth overview of current and future opportunities for the ISMC ecosystem, with a special focus on the forthcoming calls for 2025 and 2026.
The core of the event featured a dynamic technological pitching session, where organisations including GEOSENSE, TECMINA, ECOCASTULUM, GEOFACTORY SPAIN, TESELA, QUALIFICA2, ICAMCYL, MINING SENSE GLOBAL, ABENÓJAR TUNGSTENO, and CUBICOFF presented their capabilities and innovations, creating an ideal space for future collaborations.
The agenda continued with the exhibition of relevant European projects such as RESILEX, DEXPLORE, IDP, COMET – United Circles, and S34I, all of which focus on strategic themes such as energy resilience, sustainable mining, digital twins, and the circular economy.
The afternoon was dedicated to matchmaking sessions and workshops aimed at building new collaborative proposals.
