ISMC continues its growth with the addition of Minas de Estaño de España, a subsidiary of Australian Elementos Limited, as a new member of the cluster. This membership strengthens ISMC’s commitment to sustainability and the development of key mining projects within the sector.
Minas de Estaño de España has garnered significant attention due to its Oropesa Mining Project, which holds 18.9 million tonnes of identified tin resources, according to its Technical Director, Antonio Ortega Muñoz. Located in Fuente Obejuna, in the northwest of Córdoba, the project is situated in a historically significant mining area for base metals, highlighting its strategic relevance in the industry.
