ALTO MINERALS SL, the Spanish subsidiary of Denarius Metals, joins Iberian Sustainable Mining Cluster (ISMC) as a new partner with its outstanding expertise in strategic mining and its role as the operator of Spain’s only nickel deposit, the iconic Aguablanca project.

This new partner comes with a solid proposal and a strategic approach, standing out as the ambassador of the only nickel mine in the country: the Aguablanca deposit, located in Monesterio, Extremadura. This project also contains a significant 20% copper, positioning it as a key asset for the sector.

In addition, ALTO MINERALS SL is leading the Lomero Project, located in the Iberian Pyrite Belt (IPB), recognised as the largest concentration of massive sulphides in the world.

In a context where the demand for strategic minerals is rising due to the energy transition, the resurgence of mining in Spain is gaining prominence. Extremadura, in particular, is consolidating itself as a hub of interest for investments in the sector.
