On June 19, the Iberian Sustainable Mining Cluster (ISMC) gathered its members in Seville for its Ordinary General Assembly. The meeting included the presentation of the annual balance, the opening of a new office in the city, and the welcome of new members, consolidating a network that now exceeds 80 companies and institutions.
The Iberian Sustainable Mining Cluster (ISMC) held its new Ordinary General Assembly on June 19, 2024, at the Meliá Sevilla Hotel. This event brought together members, universities, companies, and official institutions that are part of the cluster, reinforcing its role as a benchmark in advancing towards more sustainable mining.
The session was chaired by the ISMC’s General Director, Santiago Cuesta López, who presented the activity report for 2023 and the first half of 2024, as well as providing updates on the numerous projects recently approved. The 2024 Action Plan was also discussed, designed to further drive innovation and sustainability in the sector.
This event also marked the opening of ISMC’s new office in Seville, a significant milestone for the cluster’s expansion in the region. Additionally, new members were welcomed, bringing the network to over 80 companies and institutions, including universities and professional associations.
