The Iberian Sustainable Mining Cluster (ISMC) brings together mora then 100 companies, technology centres, and universities committed to innovative, responsible, and sustainable mining. We represent more than 2,500 professionals from the mining sector and its associated services.

Since our foundation in 2018, we have been working to lead the transformation of the sector in Spain and Europe, promoting circular economy principles, efficient use of natural resources, and the development of new sustainable technologies. Our goal is to position the Iberian mining industry within global value chains through collaboration, internationalisation, and active participation in European, national, and regional projects.

At ISMC, we promote growth, competitiveness, and sustainability within the sector. We act as a bridge between industry, science, and European policy, fostering a sustainable, digital, and low-emission mining industry that is key to Europe’s energy transition and strategic autonomy.
